So what is HelloFresh?
HelloFresh is a meal subscription service that you can cancel at any time. You sign up, enter your payment details then choose the meals you would like and what date you want them to arrive etc.
Your order will be sent via DPD who will notify you of the hour delivery slot on the morning of the delivery (if you have their app they also notify you when they're half an hour away then a few mins away). The parcel will contain a padded chill bag with ice blocks for your refrigeration items such as your meats and cheeses etc. Also included are the numbered recipe cards with approx cooking time, a photo of the meal and ingredients on one side and step by step instructions of how to cook it on the other. Each meal's ingredients are bagged up individually and numbered to correspond with the recipe card. Each ingredient is pre-measured and ready to add to your dish. These ingredients include all your herbs/spices, tinned good, fruit and veg, fresh herbs, pasta, rice etc.

HelloFresh has over 1500 recipes in total with a selection of 31 to pick from each week. There are many family favourites but also the opportunity to try some gorgeous different meals.

Does it matter which box I choose? No, whether you choose the Meat & Veggies box, Veggie box, Family box or Quick Cook box you will have the exact same meals to chose from as everyone else for that week. The reason you pick the type off box is simply for the pre-selected meals. HelloFresh picks for you but obviously, you go on to change these to pick whatever you want anyway.
Can I change the size of my box once signed up? Yes on the app this is found in the 'profile' tab at the bottom right then click 'plan settings'.
Why do they need my bank details? This is a subscription service. They also take a £1 payment too which is then refunded automatically within a day or two.
How do I cancel? It is easy on your web browser you simply click 'plan settings' then 'stop my deliveries'.
When should I cancel if I just want the first box? As soon as you order the box you can sign in on the app and see the next few weeks along the top, if you click on each week then click 'edit my delivery' you can then click 'skip this week' you can skip a few weeks so it gives you plenty of time to cancel. Wait until your box arrived and then go ahead and close the account by opening on the web browser and clicking 'plan settings' then 'stop my deliveries'.
Is there any support? HelloFresh has a live chat on their website and also respond as if it were a live chat on messenger. They really are very helpful. If you have any queries or missing anything from your box they sort it out very quickly by crediting your account for the missing item.
Are there any veggie options? Yes, there are many vegetarian options.
