Coriander Vegetable Seeds: Mr Fothergill’s Oh Sow Simple Coriander is an easy-to-grow herb seed variety that produces vigorous, bushy green plants with fresh, aromatic leaves for home cooking.
When and How to Sow: Sow indoors from January to December for year-round crops, or sow outdoors where they are to crop. Sow thinly, 0.5cm deep in prepared, watered soil or small pots of compost.
Germination and Plant Care: Keep indoor sowings in a warm position at 15-20°C. Outdoor seedlings usually appear in 14 to 21 days. Water well until plants are established.
Spacing and Continuous Cropping: Thin seedlings to 20cm apart for healthy growth. For a steady supply of fresh coriander, make repeat sowings every 2 to 3 weeks throughout the growing season.
Harvest, Uses and Benefits: Pick leaves as required, with outdoor crops ready from May. Plants regrow for 3 to 4 cut-and-come-again harvests, ideal for containers, partial shade and light windowsills.
